Our Sports Courses

  • NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Sports
  • NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Sports

This qualification is for learners aged pre-16 and above and is suitable for use within a study programme. This qualification aims to help support the learner’s personal development through acquiring skills and knowledge in sports, exercise and fitness. The qualification also allows learners to gain personal transferable skills that can be applied to the workplace or further study.

  • NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Sports
  • NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Sports

The Sports Studies NCFE Diploma Level 2 course will help you to develop practical and work-based skills around Sports.
The course is your opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of sports while gaining related introductory and transferrable skills to start or progress in the sports sector. The course covers units where you will be able to develop knowledge and skills in sports, fitness and coaching.

Entry Requirements

2 GCSEs at grades 3 or above, including English.
Or, a Level 1 vocational qualification and a Level 1 English qualification.

  • NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Sports and Physical Activity (Sports Coaching)

This course is designed to give you a strong platform of knowledge and skills in the world of sports and exercise science.
You will learn about fitness training, functional anatomy, coaching for performance, applied sports and exercise psychology. All of which will help you in progress towards further study or employment.

Within this course, we offer our you multiple pathways so that you can study sports as well as specialise in other areas that are of interest to you. By pairing sports with another subject you will expand your potential and lead your career in multiple directions.
